Deposition by Ibrahim bowa ben Abdul Karim Dholkey (may be: Ibrahim bawa bin Abdulkarim Dholki) describing his capture by Joasemee [ Qawāsim One of the ruling families of the United Arab Emirates; also used to refer to a confederation of seafaring Arabs led by the Qāsimī tribe from Ras al Khaima. ] pirates and subsequent sale to a crew member. The deposition also lists the places they travelled to around the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. , the skirmishes they engaged in and the strength and formation of the Joasemee fleets. The deposition concludes with his escape at Kishma [Qeshm] and eventual travel to Muscat.
