The letter regards the peoples of Ras-ool-Keimeh [Ra's al-Khaymah] whom the British regard as having broken their treaty, and questioning how this can be the case given that they are viewed by his people as subjects of the Wahabis [Wahhabi].
The letter goes on to assent to a British agent being sent to Rus-ool-Keimeh and that he will ensure the people accept whatever ruling the British decide on for their having breached the treaty.
The letter also refers to the British threat to bombard Rus-ool-Kheimeh and the possibility of war between Britain the Wahabis.
