Genre/Subject Matter:

View near Bushire of an Imamzada [Imamzadeh], or shrine-tomb for the descendant of an Imam, directly related to the Prophet Muhammad. It is unclear which of various shrine-tombs in the area this image depicts. The dome of the shrine-tomb is visible right of centre in the background. The foreground and middle-ground are taken up with an area of palm and other trees. At left part of a stone-built wall is visible.
