Begins (f. 26v, lines 9-10):

فكرت ليلةً ما في أن كثيرًا مما غيب عنا حقيقته قبل حلوله قد جعل طريق إلى حرزه

وحدسه وتقديره فينتفع بذلك وإن لم يعلم حقيقته...

Ends (f. 31v, lines 8-11):

... ويجتمد كل الاجتماد في تكميل نفسه ويستفرغ

غاية الوسع في طلب تمامه هما أقبح النقص بالقادر على التمام والعجز بالتمكن

من الكمال وهذا حين نختم القول في الأخلاق والحمد لله شكرًا المواهبة

وهو حسبي توكلًا عليه وعلمًا بالرجوع إليه
