The letter is informing the Assistant in Charge that the HC Cruizer Vestal has arrived at Bushire giving convoy to the Lord Minto , which was conveying arms for the use of the King of Persia, Fat′h Ali Shah Qajar. It further notes that the Vestal has been dispatched to Bussora [Basra], so that it may convey any intelligence for the Bombay Government back to India.
