IIUSGAT.
The Customs duty at Ifusoat is 5 par cent
ad valorm on imports. 5 per o&nt on the total value of
imports for 1006 amounts to £23,071.
Ih 1908 the Qovernnent of India estimated £26600
per armm (i.e.20000 dollars a month at Iis.160 -100 dollam
whioh was stated hy the Politioal Agent in January last
to he a fair rate of exchange for 1907,) as the minimum
inoome to he guaranteed to the Suit ant if they took over
his Customs Administration.
5 per o&nt on the total value of arms and
ammunition imported into Ifusoat in 1906 mounts to £5617.
