The object of /this latter is firstly greeting and
secondly to inquire after your health. May you ever be
favoured with all what is good. On these parts the movements
ar® quiet and the affira are satisfactory by the grace of
God.
We sent you a letter previously but no reply has come
from you and we do not know what it was that hse prevented it.
We hop© it a propitious one. further, the condition which
has already been arranged between ue and Sheikh Salin through
the nediura of the Sheikhs Honeid bin Abdullah and Hashar bin
M&ktoora is not hidden fro® you. On the present date, there
took place an assembly of the ©foresaid Sheikhs with us and
they asked Salim for adherence in accordance with the arrange
ment existing between us and hiaj and they did not gain the
object froa hiia but withdre What had been undertaken by then
for hira and acquitted us of the guarantee which they had
given for us and to ue. tod the condition which (existed)
betfreen uo and Salira has been disturbed at present. You know
that he is residing at 3u Fusa Island, which as you know,
belongs to Shargah and perhaps mischiefs will enanatr fro®
him and evil "oings. Firstly he will disturb the Maritime
peace for the reason that he is residing in the island.
Secondly, as w© have mentioned to you. It is a dependency
of Chargah and is our town and we will not grant it to any
one. And yo\i have information about it, and its affairs are
not hidden from you. "We request you to warn Sheikh Sallra
that If he desire® to dwell at Bu Musa a guarantee should be
forth-coming
