The object otYthin letter is firstly greeting and
secondly to inquire after your health. May you over be
favoured with all what its good. On these parts the movements
are quiet and the affiro are oatiofactory by the grace of
God.
Wo sent you a letter prcvloucly but no reply has cons®
fron you and we do not know what it wag that has prevented it.
We hop© it a propitious one. Further, the condition which
hao already been arranged between ua and Sheikh Galis through
the raediuja of the Sheikhs HoJaeid bin Abdullah and Haohar bin
Mafctooia ia not hidden from you. On the prenent date, there
took place an aaeerably of the aforesaid Sheikhs with u® and
they asked Salia for adherence in accordance with the arrange
ment existing between uc and hin; and they did not gain the
object from hi® but withdre what had been undertaken by them
for hia and acquitted uo of the guarantee which they had
given for us and to us. And the condition which (existed)
between us and Salim has been disturbed at present. You know
that he io residing at Uu llusa Island, which as you know,
belongs to Bhargah and perhaps mischiefs will emanate from
him and evil doings. Firstly he will disturb the Maritime
peace for the reason that he is residing in the island.
Secondly, a® we have mentioned to you, it la a dependency
ox ;,.hargah and is our town and we will not grant it to any
one. And you have infomsation about it, and its affaire are
not hidden froia you. We request you to warn Uheikh Sail®
that if he desires to dwell at flu Muea a guarantee should be
forth-coming
