Abdul la bin h&aom Sooalyeh to induoe He'jef bin All to sign a
document to the effeot that he was cognisant of, and consented
to, the agreeesnt between Hasoan bin All sosalyeh and the Oenaan
flra of Konckhaus.
In view of the persistent refusal of Kasoan All Sonaiyeh to
produce any atateaent of account for the infomatlon of his co-
concessionairee and of his unauthorised action in granting a
monopoly to the Gersian Firm, Hejef bin All has now lodged a
formal oosplaint at this Consulate gainst Hassan bin All Soaeiyeh
wiio xs a British subject* This petition I enclose in original
with a rough translated purport for your information.

that pending a settlement of account between ay petitioner and
Hassan bin All Somelyeh, such of the mining laplstaents as remain
