* As regards Sir, a dispute has arisen between Sheikhs

The explanation of the above paenage is as followsi-
It will be reaerabered that in the eeoond agreement bet
ween Sheikh Sagar and Sheikh Salis {dated 1684) at whioh
predecessor wae the intermediary,■ Oheikh Sagar granted to
Sheikh Salim an annual pension of 400 dollar® together with
the revenue of air Bu Huair, which wats expected to bring in
sosae 205.
Up to 3.089, however, thia island did not produce any
revenue as was expected and consequently no m&ntSon waa
aade of it in the third agreement dated 5th Sha&ban 1306
(18S9) and iiheikh ciiui oeased to take any interest in it*
When, however, it became probable that the island might pro
duce acne revenue as the result of the Concession alluded to
in sty letter to Hasan Gamaiyeh now under reference. Sheikh
SalimVe interest sra« naturally revived and he wanted to
claim the revenue under the obsolete agreement of 1884,
which Sheikh Sagar was altogether umrllling to agree to on
