Your letter has been leceived and I have understood its contents.

v hen we took our departure we had no men to work on the boat and there were
not sufficient men. We were on the sea for four days and four nights and did not
even then reach the island. We returned to Lingah. If he had supplied efficient
men, or if I myself had engaged efficient men, we should have reached the Island.
This is the way Haji Hasan goes on. I do not know whether he wishes that I
should get tired and that the Island should be for himself. Other facts will turn
