Article III.
In consideration for the grant of
this lease, the Company undertake to pay to
the Sheikh within 60 days aftexits grant, the
sum of Re.10,000 and the further sum of
Rs,10,000 on each euriniversery of the grant,
subject to the "delay* exception mentioned
in Article IN, for five years, or until, in
accordance with Article ¥111; the Company
shall h^ve declared that oil has been found
in ooi'JTierciall|fexploitable quantities •
All lands granted by this agreement
to the Copipa.ny or that my be acquired by the
Company in the manner provided for in Article
II of this lease as also all products ex
ported shall be free of all imposts and taxes
during trie tenure of the present concession.

- Correspondence between the British Government and the Anglo-Persian Oil Company (A.P.O.C) regarding their possible interest in the oil concession in Kuwait.
