Letter to Ronald Thomson, Chargé d'Affaires in Tehran, regarding a request from the Governor of Bushire that he be permitted to send his personal letters via the English Courier; the arrival of the Netherlands Consul; a request to send a case of cigars to the Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. and Pelly's desire to travel to England for furlough via Tehran.

This is an original letter which is located in between folios 129 and 134 of the volume.
