Alexandrian Summary (جوامع الإسكندرانيين) of Galen's (جالينوس ; d. ca 216) De elementis secundum Hippocratem libri II (Περὶ τῶν καθ' Ἱπποκράτην στοιχείων βιβλία β'; في عناصر بحسب رأي أبقراط) translated from the Greek by Ḥunayn ibn Isḥāq (حنين بن إسحق; d. 873).

Begins (f. 157r, lines 8-9):

... أجناس العناصر ثلثة فمنها عناصر بعيدة تعم

جميع الأجسام المركبة كلها وهي النار والهواء والماء والأرض

Ends (f. 176r, lines 13-16):

... فإذا اجتذب الأدوية المسهلة

هذه الأخلاط عندما يستنظف ما في العروق منها جرت بشدة اجتذابها

وعنفها مع الخلط الذي الدواء المسهل مخصوص به خلط آخر

ليس ذلك الدواء مخصوص به فاسهلته ...
