Content: Samuel Hennell refers to his letter of 28 October 1850, no. 109, which enclosed a copy of his despatch, no. 382, dated 15 October 1850, which was addressed to Her Majesty's Minister at the Court of Tehran, His Excellency Lieutenant-Colonel Justin Sheil CB. Hennell forwards a transcript of Sheil's reply to that despatch, dated 10 November 1850, which expresses Sheil's approval of Hennell's actions. The transcript is not included here, but Sheil's letter does appear as an earlier item in this file (see ff.210-213v).
