Samuel Hennell encloses a translation of a letter, dated 2 September 1850, from His Royal Highness Feerooz Meerza [Firouz Mirza Nosrat-ed-Dowleh], Prince Governor A Prince of the Royal line who also acted as Governor of a large Iranian province during the Qājār period (1794-1925). of Fars, to Hennell, written in response to three of Hennell's letters, on the following three subjects: an act of piracy which was committed upon a bugla Large trading vessel. [ buggalow Large trading vessel. ] belonging to Hajee Yacoob by inhabitants of Khirrah in 1845; the plunder of twelve loads of raisins belonging to Mr Malcolm by Khoda Kerrum Khan; a house in Shiraz which was mortgaged to Mr Mills, an English merchant, but which has recently been reoccupied.
