Content: Samuel Hennell encloses a translated substance of a report from the Agent at Shiraz, Mirza Mahmood, regarding affairs in the province of Fars between 18 March and 26 April 1850. Hennell also provides details of Bakir Khan's failed attempts to make peace with Sheik Nasir, through the mediation of the Chiefs of Borazgoon and Dashtee. Hennell reports that despite these failed attempts, all aggressions on either side have ceased.
