This letter concerns a vessel belonging to Sheik Houssein, Chief of Congoon [Kangān], which was recently seized and plundered by a number of boats belonging to Sheik Yoosoof ben Moobaruck ben Ally of Nabend. Samuel Hennell states that Sheik Houssein has asked Hennell either to respond to the act of piracy or to allow Sheik Houssein to do so himself. Hennell asks for instructions from Justin Sheil.
