situation in south Eastern Arabia. The Sultan of Muscat,

to pay off his debts, has practically given us a free

Salih, the spokesman of the Iman's party, has met the
Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. and expressed Ms willingness to come to
an agreement as lon^ as such an agreement does not involve
