the Agreement until the dispute shall have "been arbitrated on
under Article 16 and unless the Company has failed to comply
with the decision of the arbitrators within three months of
the date of such decision.
Article 15.
No failure or omission on the part of the Company
to fulfil any of the conditions of this Agreement shall give
the Shailch any claim against the Company or be deemed a
breach of this Agreement insofar as the same arises from
force majeure and if through such force majeure the
fulfilment by the Company of any of the conditions of this
Agreement be delayed, the period of such delay togethor with
such period as may be necessary for the restoiation ox any
damage done during such delay shall be added to the periods
fixed by this Agreement. The necessary restoration of such
damage will be carried out by the Company as expeditiously
as possible.
Article 16.
If any dispute should arise between the Shaikh and
the Company as to the interpretation of this Agreement or as
to any matter arising out of it or with reference to the
obligations or either party under it, such dispute shall,
failing any agreement to settle it in any other way,

The volume contains copies of correspondence between the Political Resident A senior ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul General) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Residency. at Bahrain and the Secretary of State for India in London about oil concession in Qatar and the negotiations between the Anglo-Persian Oil Company (APOC) and the Sheikh of Qatar.
