subject of A status of the Island of Qeis in the p er-
slan Gulf near Lingah.
2. In reply, I am to say that the Government
of India do not consider that any attempt should be
made to acquire rights in the island in the manner
suggested in Mr. Grahame's letter of the 11th October
1906.
