Letter regarding Pelly's landing either that evening or the following day and reporting that the mail steamer still has lots of cargo to board and land so will not be departing til the following evening. Edwards goes on to report on damage suffered to the Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. by a storm the previous night and in a postscript enquires whether Pelly wishes him to bring the mission despatch on board and informs him that he would not be able to do any work at sea as he suffers from sea sickness.
