Letter in which Hennell writes about an enquiry surrounding the events of an altercation between his and McAlister's servants, over access to a water well in the town. Hennell writes of his 'entire disapprobation' with McAlister in the wake of an altercation, and complains of McAlister not consulting him before punishing his own servants.
