Jazeerat el Garrow is a small low island, only a few hundred yards
round, with the

a mile of it. It is in lat. 28° 49' 21" N., long. 48° 42' 25" E.
K hore el K uffagee.
Khore el Kuffagee is a small creek with sand, one fathom and a half
in lat. 28° 24' 55" N., long. 48° 22' 8" E. Here ends the authority
of the Shaikh of Grane, and that of the Shaikh of Kateef or head of the
Beni Khalid Iribe begins. From Ras-ool-Ghar to this place the coast
is safe to approach to seven fathom

Gebil Benaye is a small and remarkable rock, about four miles

Khore Benaye is a small inlet, navigable for fishing-boats, having only
six feet water at its entrance, but deep water within. It is in lat. 28°
39' 50" N., long. 48° 15' 55" E.
R as-ool- Z ore.
Ras-ool-Zore is in lat. 28° 44' 18" N., long. 48° 16' 20" E. It forms
the south-eastern point of the above bay ; it is low, with several hills
near it. A spit runs nearly three miles off it in patches, and should not
be approached under eight fathoms.
R as-ool- G illa.
Ras-ool-Gilla forms the north-western point of a bay which is filled
pa f tcheS ° f rock ' and extremely dangerous to enter, there not being
any safe anchorage. The Eas is in lat. 28° 52' 50' N., Ions. 48° 12'
ann w eX ' ends a ^ out two miles off ""s point, and should not be
approached under ten fathoms.
