In order to confirm the under
taking given in paragraph 1 of
the protocol of the 20th April,
1905, His Imperial Majesty the
Sultan of Turkey declares that
he will not alienate in any
manner whatsoever the terri
tory, of an extent of about
550 English square miles, ad
joining the Jebel Numan-Husn
Murad line and lying within the
limits of the old Subaihi canton.
The said territory is marked in
yellow on the map which forms
Annex (C) to this Convention.
