The file contains correspondence related to the issuing of number plates for the Political Agent’s car and the issuing of driving licences for the Bahrain Political Agency’s drivers. Fees were paid accordingly to the Manama Municipality. The main correspondence is between the Bahrain Political Agency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, headed by an agent. and the Government of Bahrain.
