Correspondence received by the Political Agency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, headed by an agent. relating to a donation of five hundred Indian rupees Indian silver coin also widely used in the Persian Gulf. from the Bahrain merchant Rao Sahib Jashanmal, and the institution of a relief fund in Bombay [Mumbai], for the benefit of people suffering in the wake of the Bombay dockyard explosion and subsequent fire that occurred on 14 April 1944.
