2. I annex for your information copy of a correspondence received from
the Government of Bombay From c. 1668-1858, the East India Company’s administration in the city of Bombay [Mumbai] and western India. From 1858-1947, a subdivision of the British Raj. It was responsible for British relations with the Gulf and Red Sea regions. and of my reply thereto.

copy of a letter, with accompaniments, from the Acting Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. in
Ivutch, No. 49, dated the 21st instant, regarding two alleged cases of robbery
from a Native vessel belonging to the Kutch State whilst moored at the Kooria
Mooria Islands.

I have the honor to forward, for the information of Government and for
suck notice as His Excellency in Council may deem fit, translated copy of a
yadee to my address from His Highness the Eao with accompaniments,
bunging to notice two alleged cases of robbery from Native craft whilst moored
at the Kooria Mooria Islands. I have endeavoured to ascertain facts from the
deponents themselves m the matter, but I find after enquiry that they are not
