crippled or insane. The pension of a daughter, married daughter, wife, mother or grandmother
will be continued she marries or remarries, , . ,
‘ifan Officer dies leaving one wife or more, a mother, one grandmother or more, or one
grandfather or more, in assessing the pension one wife or more,. a mother and one grandmother,
one grandmother or more, for an one grandfather or more, will be considered as one orphan, as
regards their portion of the pension, which inach case will be equally divided if there is more
than one wife, grandmother, or if there is a grandmother and mother, or one grandfather or more.
If a father or grandfather is 60 years of age and destitute, or if he is under 60 yearsof age,. desti-
tute and unable to earna livelihood, he will be considered as one orphan, as regards his portion
of the pension. If there is a father and grandfather, they will - share equally the portion of one
orphan;/ . s 1 • •
(aj.Ifthe pension of a daughter, mother or grandmother is cancelled on account of her
marriage, and ifafterwards her husband dies or divorces her, the original pension will be renewed
from the date of thetransfer of thepetition from the Jidda.. . ,
(6) If a daughter, mother or grandmother was married when the death of the father,- son or
grandson, occurred, she will be entitled to the pension which she would normally have received,
on account of her bread-winner.. 1 /
, (4 * If a wife'was in receipt of a pension on account of her husband, and this was cancelled
on her remarriage, and if the second husband dies or divorces her the original pension, will be
renewed from the date of the second husband’s death or divorcing her. If she is entitled to a
pension on account of her second husband, and it is larger than that which she received on account
of her first husband, she may be granted the pension on account of her second husband. This
procedure,> however, will not be repeated:
if a woman is entitled to a pension on account of her late father, husband or son, she will
receive the pension on account of one only, but that will be the4argest of the three pensions..
(a) The dependants of an Officer, as k shown in clause 23 may be granted a pension
-less than piastres 100. ’ 4(1
(b) The dependants of an Officer, as shown in clause 23 will be entitled to the pension,
due for the period remaining to the deceased Officer.
In the; case of a Pupil in the Military College, in Constantinople, ora Turkish Other Rank,
becoming incapacitated when in the discharge of his duties, the pension he will be' entitled to as is
follows :—.

If a Pupil in the Military' College in Constantinople, or a Turkish
stated in clause 735, his dependants will receive 1/3 of the pension which he
on account of ‘ 1st class incapacitation.
If a soldier has completed 20 years’ continuous service he will receiveya
last rate'of pay.
