Commentary by Abū Manṣūr al-Ḥusayn ibn Ṭāhir ibn Zaylah (أبو منصور الحسين بن طاهر بن زيلة, d. 1048) on the Epistle of Alive Son of Awake (رسالة حي بن يقظان) a philosophical allegory by his teacher Abū ʿAlī al-Ḥusayn ibn ʿAbd Allāh (أبو علي الحسين بن عبد الله), known as Ibn Sīnā (ابن سينا, latinised as Avicenna, d. 1037).
