Your A.-2605-12, January 4th (Dy. No. 5256).
No objection to officers who held civil appointments being released from
Army Service. Cannot make any pronouncement on the question of those
officers who have contracts with or have been in receipt of pay from their
former civil employers. Such can only be settled by the officer concerned
with his employer. Local Governments being asked regarding Government
servants. Dates of release from Army Service in all ca^-es to be reported here.
Please understand that no officer so released can be replaced from India.
