The General Officer Commanding, Force « D, ” was asked for information showing (1) the present location
of each Labour and Porter Corps, (2) the department or directorate for which working- (3) the
iiaf oTe of work; and also the strength of local labour corps employed on each class Of work and
wnether these were housed, fed and clothed under military arrangements.
