to the revival of trade and
to the operations in Sind and

duties are realized in great
part from liquors. The export
duties are swollen by a large
revenue from indigo, the
charge on which was not re

remaining dutiable on export is rice husked and unhusked, which
this year chiefly found its way to Kurrachee and thence to the
ports of the Arabian and Persian Gfulfs. The duties collected at
the two subordinate ports fell off very much. The receipts for
warehousing^ and (( transhipment” decreased very considera
bly, while those for a wharfage” and <( cranage” nearly doubled.
