The Dakshina Prize Committee examined a large numberof
compositions, and awarded prizes of the aggregate value of Rs 425.
With regard to school-books the usual work of revision has been
carried on under the supervision ofthe 4 vernacular commit
tees, and several useful publications have been added to the list
of sanctioned text-books.
