X.7422 March 23rd. If you could expedite delivery of engines
and rolling stock now on order I should be obliged. Also (?)
i.^rk shops and machinery. Shortage of engines and heavy traffic
prevent stopping many which are already overdue in shops, so
tnat condition of engines already serious and getting worse.
It is estimated 56 additional engines and 1950 trucks preferably
4 wheeled covered goods with FLAF (sic) doors over and above
M.R.2,A.6412 and An Khanikin line, see my telegram of March 8th
No.X7010. Shall be glad if the number of engines to come
forward in April can be increased to 20, and thereafter that the
balance which should be of standard goods or standard mixed type
in good condition, could be delivered as follows
May 20 * June 15 ' Jul y 15 * August 15. September balance, ? and
t:*uclcs should be despatched at the rate of 400 per month if
possible. Also for the Khanikin extension the following track will
be requireds-.50 miles 50 lb. track and 15 sets of points
crossings 1 in 8|.
