Mth regard to railways, function proposed for proposed
transportation staff at Army Headquarters are now
carried out as follows
A. With regard to material, by Munitions Board
who are directly m touch with Director of Ra it ays,
Mesopotamia and include on their staff technical
railway staff taken over from railway board. With regard
to personnel, by the Adjutant General who also has
a technical staff for that purpose and deals with all
recruitment of personnel both technical and
non-teohnical„

D * Requisitions are framed primarily by
rector of Railways in Mesopotamia himself and met by
Munitions Board.
E. Questions of priority of supply are deeded
under my orders or referred to Army Council when necessary.
