A map of Mesopotamia and western Iran indicating railway routes. The map also shows hydrology and human settlements. The railway lines are colour coded to indicate gauge width.

A note at the bottom of the sheet states that it was copied from Plan No. S 2434 and Plan No. S 2212 of the Director of Railways, Mesopotamia. An ink stamp in the bottom right corner of the sheet reads 'Director of Rlys & Roads, M. R. 2. (A), 249/E, War Office'.
