Following Piracy report was received on llth January

from the Sind C.I.D.
* A source reports that he learnt in Khorfakhan that
Nakhuda Haji Ali of Kisham (Iranian) on his way to
Karachi from Basra with dates was looted by pirates
in four boats and he along with 13 of his crew were
killed by them and their bodies were thrown in the
sea. The boat was left at large. The incident took
place between Jash and Hamasama Islands. The names
of the headmen of the pirates are said to be (1) Mirza,
(2) Brahim, (3) Dost Mahammed and (4) Hassan. They
and their followers were armed with rifles. Nos (l)
and (2) had about 25 followers each. The headmen are
reported to be related to each other.’'
No date of the occurrence was given and reliability of
source is not known.
