Saudi Arabian Law does not absolutely
prohibit Slavery but prohibits importation by "land
routes unless importer produces a Government document
confirming that person imported was recognised as a
slave in country from which he is imported' 1 in 1936.
2. I would be glad of confirmation that
such document could not legally be issued in Muscat
and that public trading in slaves is illegal. Treaty
of Muscat April 24th 1873 appears to apply.
