Translation of letter dated the 10th Habial Awal, 1360
(8.4.41) from the Wali of Suwaik to Saiyid •Jhahab bin
Faisal, Minister for External Affairs, Muscat.
n
After Compliments.
"Tiere is nothing to inform you of this side -of
yours except that every thing is well and all are happy.
Your letter was delivered to me by brother Saif bin Amer
and I have understood the contents. You have mentioned
that those five persons whom you have sent for are in the
house of Zainab bint Cherag and that they are at Bat-ha.
This woman left this place four months ago and she is in
Dubai. If it is proved that the woman and those persons
are here, I take the responsibility on me in this respect.
If anybody says and proves to you that the woman and those
persons are in Bat-ha, it is well and good. Please send
him to me to show me those persons and I will send them to
you at any rate. According to what I have heard, those
persons have gone back to Mekran. This is what I heard
and God knows the best. Brother Saif bin Amer is going
back to you and his verbal report of what he saw and heard
will be enough to know the facts.
