In 1917 he was arrested in Bombay and put into
prison (for what reason is not stated, but possibly es an
undesirable alien), end interned at bankure.

is some indication that he did#
he appealed to the Privy Council, and judgment

of the petition to all Members of Parliament#
The case is stated to have been taken up on
various occasions by the Persian Minister in London. A
reply was given to the latter in 1928, but it is not clear
when the first enquiry was made#

but gives no particulars of his residence in this country.
