Correspondence and other papers relating to the visits of British Navy vessels to Muscat and other ports and islands within Muscat territories. Most of the papers are notifications of the arrival and departure of HM ships into and out of Muscat. Particular attention is given to the official visit of HMS Loch Quoich , with arrangements for cocktail parties and football and hockey matches covered by the file. Other ships mentioned include HMS Wild Goose and Flamingo .
