considerably today. Only three Istanbul (Constantinople) news
papers indulge in any comment.
2. Sharp disapproval is expressed by '’Aksham". This paper
reveals Turkish apprehensions of Russian intentions by asking
"whether British are certain that the Soviets will beat and
exhaust [grp. omitted: ? Germany]. If not, on what do they
base themselves to guarantee integrity and future of Persia?
