The plan shows part of Perim island, terminating in the east in a line roughly demarcated from Lee Point in the south to Ra's al 'Ushsh in the north.

The plan was produced as part of a lease between the Secretary of State for India in Council and the Perim Coal Company, showing the land and buildings to be leased by the latter, plus other buildings, amenities and ruins.
