Yusuf KhairuUuh.^Sh&iVh. of the Shuwailat (al-Humaid). Was with
Ajaimi at Nakhaiiah (30th March 1915); at battle of Sh’aibah. Said once to
be well disposed towards us (27th August 1915); but he and al-Jasim promise
Shaikh of Al-bu*Darar a paid appointment to join them. (3rd May 1916.)
Yusuf Khan.-Amir-i-Mujahid, q. v., Ilbegi.
Yusuf-al-Nafisah.-—Major, Officer Commanding, National Battalion,
Amarah, 11th April 1915 : his brother ’Abdullah was then in Basrah. Cavalry
Commandant at Shaikh Sa’ad (20th August 1915). Arrived Jessan 25th
November 1915, with 20 men : was Officer Commanding 3,000 tribesmen there
(6th December 1915) : went with 400 horsemen to Jessan about 16th February
1916.
Yusuf Zia. —(1) Bey, reported to have reached Baghdad from Con
stantinople about 13th February 1916 with 5 battalions
and 6 guns, and sent to Khaniqin. (27th February
1916.)
(2) Said to be officiating Wali at Baghdad, but it was
really Shevket (Shaflq?)

1915. Outlawed and driven by us from his muqata’ah which was given to
Osman on 11th July 1916.
Zaigham-ul-Dauleh, —Half brother of Saulet-ul-Dauleh.
