Ibn Rashid .—Sand ibn ’Abd-ul-’Aziz, Amir of Hail since 1908. Was at
Linah, about 170 miles soutb-west of Nasiriyah in February 1916, and subse-
queatly approached the Zubair-Khamisiyah line. About mid-July he was
forced to retire to Hail, his attempt on our communications having proved
abortive.
Ibn Saud —’Abd-ul-’Aziz ibn ’Abd-ul-B.ahman, the pro-British Amir of
Eeadh and all Nejd.
