The file is a direct continuation of IOR/R/15/2/679.

- export licence requests from BAPCO representatives to the Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. , detailing: the assignee of the export; the name of the vessel and its place of registration; the date for loading at Bahrain; the quantity and type of petroleum products to be loaded; the destination of the export; the consignee; tonnage of diesel fuel in the ship’s bunkers. Some licence requests bear additional handwritten notes by Agency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, headed by an agent. staff, which relate to the specifics of the request;
- copies of granted export licences, issued by the Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. at Bahrain;
