It covers various subjects including the articles of agreement signed with Shaik Saddoon [Sheikh Sa‘dūn], details of goods and men landed at Bushire, the levies and duties to be imposed and paid, the appointment of a Shroff (money changer) and linguist (Stephen Hermit), the need to procure musters of woollens imported to north Persia by the Russians, the need for frugality, and the opinion that Carem Caun's [Karim Khan] rule is both just and moderate.
