Thompson writes that he has recovered to a 'great degree' from the voyage to Muscat, and reports that he has received Dow A term adopted by British officials to refer to local sailing vessels in the western Indian Ocean. 's communications with Captain Gray on the subject of funds raised at Bushire. Thompson states that the details of some expenses have not been received, and therefore requests a copy of the missing account at the first opportunity.
