Covering letter to Malet, enclosing a copy of a letter sent to Major Atkins Hamerton, Her Majesty's Consul and the Honourable Company's Agent in the dominions of His Highness the Imam of Muscat, dated 5 June 1852. Kemball's letter informs Hamerton of intelligence he has received from the British Agent at Lingah [Bandar-e Lengeh] (not included in the volume), concerning the enslavement of a woman from Sohar [Suhar], who has been taken to Bandar-e Lengeh.
